On this inside face

The inside face is passed under wire rollers that cut the loops open and lift the fibre into a pile. That trapped air is what you feel as warmth in the first second. The pile lies down over months of wear, and that is expected, not a fault.

Loopback stays flat and pills less, but feels cooler against the skin.Brushed fleece feels warmer straight away, and the pile flattens with wear.Neither is better. They wear differently.

Both ends of the waist cord are bar-tacked closed against the eyelet, so the cord cannot be drawn out of the channel.
Care
Wash at 30 °C. Do not tumble dry.
Warm iron on the face only. Do not press the rib flat.

Tumble drying accelerates the flattening of the brushed pile. Line dry if you want the pile to stand for longer.

Both halves are 340 g/m², brushed fleece, in Lava Grey, cut from the same dye lot. Bought separately they come to $152.
