On this inside face
The inside face is left as unbroken loops of yarn, exactly as it came off the knitting machine. Nothing is cut, so there is no pile to flatten and less loose fibre to migrate into pills.
Loopback stays flat and pills less, but feels cooler against the skin.Brushed fleece feels warmer straight away, and the pile flattens with wear.Neither is better. They wear differently.

- Two side seam pockets bar-tacked at both corners.
- Gusset at the crotch to take the strain off the four-seam junction.
