On this inside face
The inside face is passed under wire rollers that cut the loops open and lift the fibre into a pile. That trapped air is what you feel as warmth in the first second. The pile lies down over months of wear, and that is expected, not a fault.
Loopback stays flat and pills less, but feels cooler against the skin.Brushed fleece feels warmer straight away, and the pile flattens with wear.Neither is better. They wear differently.

Tumble drying accelerates the flattening of the brushed pile. Line dry if you want the pile to stand for longer.
- Set-in sleeve, so the shoulder seam sits on the shoulder rather than down the arm.
- Two-needle coverstitch at the armhole and side seam.
- V-inset knitted into the front neck to take the load off the collar seam.
- Rib collar, cuffs and hem cut from the same rib piece.
